About Us

Just Imagine. . .

King David is referred to as “a man after God’s own heart”. One reason is because he assigned the tribe of Levi to worship 24/7 in the Tabernacle, calling to mind and giving thanks for all the continued blessings God had given His people. The Levites worshiped 24 hours, 7 days a week for over 38 years.

Could it happen again, here in the modern world? It’s already happening…you don’t want to miss this.

Our vision is quite simple…to host the 24-7 presence of God through musical worship, intercessory prayer, and the reading of His holy word. The fruits of this vision are limitless.

What Happens at TCWM?

This is what we do at TCWM.  We come to minister to the Lord.  Our primary focus is offerings of prayer (starting with thanksgiving), reading scripture, and music of many different styles.  We encourage each worshiper to bring their best offering of love to honor the Lord each time they come.  The worship times are normally in two hour time periods and we work with the worshipers to support them any way we can.  We encourage people to come and build a stronger and more intimate relationship with the Lord while they are here.  Since this is inner court ministry, we don’t preach to the Lord, we don’t prophesy to Him, and we encourage not making the worship time a “ask God for what I think I need session”. We also let the Lord be the chief minister to the people. We have noticed that He always gets it right!  While we do care and minister to people, we do that outside of and around the worship times. We also have what we call “Cross Pollination”.  This is the opportunity for worshipers of different backgrounds to worship together and grow from the experience.  It is a wonderful thing to see. Worship at TCWM is for anyone with a desire to honor the Lord.  Come and join us soon!

Ministry purpose

This ministry to Christ-centered musicians, intercessors and worshipers is based on Acts 15:16-17, which prophesies the rebuilding of the Tabernacle of David “that the residue of men might seek after the Lord.” The potential has a dynamic thrust for three reasons.

  • There is a great need for this type of ministry in the world at this time.
  • There is an overwhelming need for a fresh outreach to Christian musicians, intercessors, and other worshipers.
  • There are many more worshipers than ever desiring the intimacy this ministry provides.

As this ministry expands, teams of musicians, intercessors, and worshipers will come together more and more until the Davidic style of 24 hours a day, 7 days a week is achieved, making this a ministry after God’s own heart.

Ministry Focal Points

The focus of the ministry at The Cross Worship Ministry (TCWM) is on three basic elements.

Music

It is extremely important that Christian musicians are provided a setting that encourages a balance of heart-felt worship and excellence of presentation for “an audience of One.”

The Cross Worship Ministry has also been instrumental in taking those that feel discarded or broken by professional music ministry and helping them restore their love of worship. We know that all of God’s children have an offering that is pleasing in the Father’s eyes. We provide a time and a place of acceptance for all passionate worshipers to bring their first fruits to God. He loves all His children equally.

Prayer

“First of all , then, I admonish and urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all men. For kings and all who are in positions of authority or high responsibility, that [outwardly] we may pass a quiet and undisturbed life [and inwardly] a peaceable one in all godliness and reverence and seriousness in every way. For such [praying] is good and right, and [it is] pleasing and acceptable to God our Savior, who wishes all men to be saved and [increasingly] to perceive and recognize and discern and know precisely and correctly the [divine] Truth. For there [is only] one God, and [only] one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all [people, a fact that was] attested to at the right and proper time.

I Timothy 2:1-6, Amplified Bible

Individual intercession

We are instructed to offer prayers on behalf of ALL, and would count it a blessing to pray for you personally. This includes prayers for averting evils of every kind; prayers for obtaining the good things, spiritual and temporal, which we ourselves need; prayers on behalf of others; and thanksgiving and praises to God for all the blessings which we and others have received. If you would like to submit a prayer request, we would love to hear from you and pray for you.

“When the [uncompromisingly] righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked man rules, the people groan and sigh.”

Proverbs 29:2, Amplified Bible

Providing a place that encourages and trains believers in intercessory prayer is the natural partner for a true worship experience.

God’s Word

No expression of worship will ever be pure unless it abides by the guidelines set forth in God’s word. The praying, singing, reading, and communication of God’s word reveals the deep inner meanings it contains for all men.
